100th Anniversary
The Ephrata Lions Club will be celebrating our 100th anniversary on Saturday, March 22. Details will be announced soon.
Club Notes
- Club meetings are the first and third Thursdays of the month,
with some exceptions. We normally do not meet in July, and meet
only on the third Thursday in August for our picnic.
- The Club meetings start with dinner at 6:00 at the Ephrata American Legion.
- The first monthly meeting (the first Thursday) will feature presentations/speakers when possible.
- The
second monthly meeting (third Thursday) will be a business
meeting, replacing the separate board of directors meeting. All
Lions are welcome to stay for the business meeting.
Note: the cost of the plated dinner is $20. Meals include salad, bread/rolls, dessert, coffee, and tea. Some meals also include another vegetable or side dish. Menu subject to change.

Recent Meeting Changes
Starting in September, we implemented several meeting improvements, such as starting the meetings a half-hour earlier and trying to have community presentations on a monthly basis.
- Meetings will start at 6:00.
- Dinner will still be optional.
- The first monthly meeting (the first Thursday) will feature presentations/speakers when possible.
- The second monthly meeting (the third Thursday) will be a business meeting, replacing the separate board of directors meeting.
- There will be occasional third monthly meetings, social meetings, just to get together and have fun.
- And of course, all meetings are optional.
